Ver 0.1.5 - update


Hi all my favorite Bit's out in the Digital World. 

EightBits here with an update. 

My flow chart on levels. (it's pretty simple) but it gives a good view of of what I am thinking. Currently working on rm 2 (first upward level). Not sure if I'll do a room 3 or not. 

What do I have done?  Well for the most part the Menu, Story, INI room (initializes scripts) RM-0, RM-1, RM-1b (first one down), a test room of the basement boss, and the start of RM-2 (first level up)




In trying to make the experience enjoyable on a visual experience, I've been working on more visual assets for inside the castle. I felt after making some outdoor stuff the inside was feeling a bit empty.  At this moment these are the polished drafts of some new assets. The bookcase I'm pretty happy with. It's called a Bookcase wheel and they were used in medieval times to house books on shelfs that could be rotated with a crank on the side of it. Another program I have helps me design the assets for 2D/3D maps, the importing is not exact and I usually have to spend about an hour or so on each piece. 


I currently play the game with the light system turned on. It's the best look honestly. However I've not gone back to work on mechanics and fix some bugs as I'm concentrating on game layout design right now. But here is a look at the same scene as above but from inside the game with the light system.
