I'm EightBitsaByte, the solo game developer behind Pixel Warrior—a retro-inspired action where pixels pack a punch. When I'm not crafting code, I'm diving into crafting survival games, off-roading in my Jeep, or working with my hands through leatherwork and painting. I blend creativity and grit in everything I do, both on-screen and off.

Pixel Warrior (Lore Background)

In the heart of the mist-covered moors stood a castle. Ancient and imposing, its turrets reached for the sky like the fingers of a forgotten giant. Once, it was a grand seat of power, where kings held court and nobles reveled in opulence. Now it lays abandoned, its halls echoing only with the whispers of ghosts and the skittering of unseen creatures.  

Long ago, the castle belonged to the noble House of Blackwood.  Lord Blackwood was a man of great ambition and dark desires. He delved into forbidden arts, dabbling in alchemy and necromancy, seeking to unlock the secrets of immortality. His experiments led to unspeakable horrors, twisting the once vibrant castle into a place of darkness and dread. 

As rumors of his depravity spread. Blackwood's allies turned against him. In a desperate bid to escape justice, he invoked dark rituals binding his soul to the castle itself. His actions sealed his fate, trapping him within its walls for eternity.
