New Visual Assets and Level
Hi all my favorite Bit's out in the Digital World.
EightBits here with an update.
Don't forget Alpha Gameplay Demo v0.1.4.4 is currently out.
Over the last week I've worked on creating a new level and creating some new visual assets
- As I'm manually making each level the following has been completed.
- - Tiles have been placed (so level is drawn out)
- - Wall Collisions have been added
- - In progress on Visual Effects. adding in scenery. (plants, mushrooms, twigs, trees, etc) See picture attached for sample.
- - Enemies have not been added into the new level yet. Finishing up visual assets first.
- - Couple small bugs fixed.
Current Bugs
- Light system still interferes with the help menu. Both work fine, however when using the help menu it's turning 100% dark on screen.
Removed from game
- inventory (Direction of the game is for coin scores. inventory system didn't fit game concept at this time)

Projection
I have 1 week before I'm going on vacation for about 2 1/2 weeks. My goal is to finish up the currently level. This should be attainable. The slow down over the past week was the creation of the visual assets. Pixel Art just takes me a bit of time. Downside of being a Solo Developer is you have to wear all the hats and become a jack of all trades.
